An accident has taken out a power pole in the 200 block of Cass White Road. The road is open but power lines are dangling; emergency personnel may close the road should the down lines become a concern.

As of 9:25 a.m., there have been multiple reports of trees down in the areas of Mission Road, Richards Road, Allatoona Shores, Old Grassdale Road, Grassdale Road and Keith Road. There are also reports of trees that have fallen on homes and a small fire.
According to reports, an 18-year-old male has been shot by another male on Hannon Way in Cartersville. Both county and city units have responded.

There are reports of areas of flames on Highway 41 south of the city at the Cartersville city limits signs.
Highway 41 is reopened, according to Bartow County Fire Department. The fire at South Bridge has been contained, as has the blaze at Ladds Mountain/Burnt Hickory. Traffic was not affected by the latter fire, and both were worked by city and county units.
