A few Lyon students recently took a trip to Washington, D.C. to take part in an art course.
We have had some calls inquiring about any flooding on the campus. While parts of Batesville are experiencing flooding because the White River and other streams are overflowing their banks, the Lyon College campus and its students are safe.

There is currently a fire in Edwards Commons. No one was injured. Batesville Fire Department crews are on scene. The cause of the fire has not been determined. Arrangements are being made to feed students at another location.
